Do QR orders replace servers?
They do not have to. A service design can move order entry or payment to the diner while keeping staff responsible for greeting, recommendations, allergy conversations, exceptions and hospitality.
Will diners use it?
Adoption depends on the audience, venue and task. Test the flow with representative diners and keep a clear staff-assisted route instead of assuming one format suits everyone.
What about diners without phones?
Offer a human route in parallel, such as host-led ordering or a paper menu on request. QR should be an option rather than the only way to receive service.
Does QR ordering affect tips?
